Wild, one of a kind movie that could only be made in 1965. A struggling studio clearly wanted to fund a Euro epic and get in on that already past it Nouvelle Vague stylee. What they get is a pop art blast as silly as it is sexy. Moreau and Bardot!! Come on. It was never gonna be unwatchable. Grubby spaghetti western visuals. Makes violent civil war seems like a frilly kids movie anarchist romp.
