Nicholas Ray directs Maureen O’Hara, Gloria Grahame and Melvyn Douglas in this mystery where a singer shoots herself yet her manager tells the police she did the deed… flashbacks ensue.

It might not be the most memorable film ever… kinda soapy noir… but with these top drawer leading ladies it proves a solid one-watcher.
