Wolfgang Reitherman directs Eva Gabor, Phil Harris and Hermione Baddeley in this lost kittens caper romance. 

Mid-tier Disney focussed on light hearted slapstick rather than gothic adventure. The animation is a bit flatter than the recently deceased Walt might have signed off on but it hits some jazzy, psychedelic peaks. The chemistry between Gabor and Harris pops, two handrawn felines with more character than most tail-free, 3D onscreen pairings.
