Mary Lambert directs Dale Midkiff, Denise Crosby and Fred Gwynne in this Stephen King adaptation where a yuppie family move nearby a burial ground that ressurects the dead.

Laughably awful. One of those situations were your reader’s imagination might interpret what Stephen King banged out on his typewriter as creepy, but a low budget film crew can only manage to remake as spoof worthy. The very rare nicely shocking bits of imagery that spurt out at us accidentally are repeated and revisited so often even they lose all their low wattage power very quickly.  We are left with almost two hours of horrid people played by grating nobodies making terrible decisions.
